Ildiko Juhasz

Biography

 

Hungarian born Poland based flutist Ildiko Juhasz was born in Budapest, Hungary. She earned BA and MM degrees from the University of Music in Graz, Austria with Prof. Herbert Weissberg, Prof. Erwin Klambauer and piccolo specialist Prof. Raphael Leone.

A prizewinner in competitions like Busan Maru International Korea, Danubia Talents Hungary, Charleston Barock Competition, Canadian and Quebec International Competition and the North Music Competition Sweden as a soloist and chamber musician Ildiko has received full scholarship from the University Graz and from American CD Label Orpheus Classical.

She has given recitals in Hungary, Germany, Austria, Poland, South Korea and US. Her debut solo CD “Flute Recital” by Orpheus Classical was released in 2021. 

Apart from solo and chamber appearances she is an active orchestra flutist, cooperated with several orchestras including Bayerische Philharmonie and Munich Symphony, Macao Orchestra, Poznań Opera House and Krakow Beethoven Orchestra. 

Currently she is the flute section principal of the Sudetic Philharmonic Orchestra (Filharmonia Sudecka) and first flute- on trial at Poznań Philharmonic Orchestra (Filharmonia Poznańska) in Poland, Europe.
