Biography

Stefan Nedanoski is a spinto - dramatic tenor from North Macedonia born on the 14 of April 1995. During his years at the high school gymnasium “Mirche Acev” Prilep the music teacher at the school Dr. Tanja Ivanoska Gospel discovered his talent for singing and he started attending private singing lessons in Bitola with the famous Macedonian tenor Cvetan Stojanovski with whom he learned all the basics of the vocal technique and phrasing and gave concerts at the holidays of the school.
On the 30th of July 2012 aged 17 he gave his first recital containing 7 solo songs and 6 arias at the theater in Prilep “Marko Cepenkov” with great success. The same year and also the following one (two consecutive years) he won the “Grand Prix” award at the local singing competition called “Gim Fest” in Prilep.
In 2013 he started his studies at the academy of music in Skopje in the class of Dr. Goran Nachevski where he participated at numerous concerts called “Musica Viva” singin operatic arias and neapolitan songs. During his first year at the faculty of Music in Skopje he studied the roles of Eisenstein from the operette “Die Fledermaus” by Johann Strauss and Duca di Mantova from “Rigoletto” by Giuseppe Verdi and won 2nd place at the National competition in Skopje. On the 6th of October 2014, at the age of 19, he made his operatic debut at the National Opera and Ballet singing the main role of Ferrando from the opera “Cosi fan tutte” by Mozart conducted by Sasha Nikolovski - Gjumar.
This year he made his first appearance at the festival of Russian romances in Sofia. On the 9th of December 2015 he sung the role of Avram in the musical “Fiddler on the roof” at the Macedonian Opera and Ballet also conducted by Sasha Nikolovski – Gjumar. (Youngest tenor to have a debut with a main role at the operatic house.)
During his third year at the faculty with the help of Maestro Sasha Nikolovski – Gjumar and Dr. Goran Nachevski he prepared the role of Radames from Verdi’s “Aida”, Cavaradossi from Puccini’s “Tosca”, Turiddu from “Cavalleria rusticana” by Pietro Mascagni and Calaf from “Turandot” by Giacomo Puccini. In November 2016 he made one more appearance at the Russian romansiade in Sofija, Bulgaria singing “Ne poi krasavitsa pri mne” by Rachamnninoff. At the age of 22 on the 15th of June 2017 he gave his graduation concert at the academy of music in Skopje.
From 2018 to 2021 he attended several international opera studios in Germany, Italy and Switzerland singing roles like Gabriel von Eisenstein from "Die Fledermaus" by Johann Strauss II at theater Mon Ami in Weimar directed by Damon Nestor Ploumis, then Rinnucio from "Gianni Schicchi by Giacomo Puccini, Tamino from "Die Zauberflöte" by W. A. Mozart etc. During that time he has also sung several concerts in Kandersteg, Belgrade by Omega Opera Artists agency also singing complete roles in concert like Turiddu from "Cavalleria Rusticana" by Pietro Mascagni, Cavaradossi from "Tosca" by Giacomo Puccini etc. 2022 was a busy year for the tenor. He sung plenty of concerts including concert by Omega Opera Artists in Sofia, Concert from festival in Plovdiv etc. Later in the year he sung at two Christmas concerts by mezzosoprano S. Molluodi organised in Thessaloniki and Athens, Greece.
He welcomed the year 2023 by releasing his debut album "DAWN", in collaboration with "Soundpill records" by Ana Talevska, now available on almost every music platform on the internet.
