Michaël Bialobroda

Biography

Michaël Bialobroda is an internationally active cellist, acclaimed for his musical depth, refined technique, and strong presence as both a soloist and orchestral leader. He served as Principal Cellist of the Orchestre National de Lorraine and is regularly invited to lead the cello sections of major orchestras including the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra, the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic, the Orchestre Philharmonique de Liège, and the Orchestre Symphonique de Mulhouse. Early in his career, he was already appointed Principal Cellist of the Verbier Festival Orchestra and the Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra under Gábor Takács-Nagy.

He completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris with the highest honors, studying with Philippe Muller and received advanced chamber music training with leading artists such as Itamar Golan and Jean Sulem. A prizewinner at international competitions, he has performed as a soloist with numerous orchestras and collaborated with distinguished musicians including David Kadouch, Ray Chen, and the Quatuor Rosamonde.

Bialobroda is deeply engaged in chamber and contemporary music, with collaborations at IRCAM and participation in the Seiji Ozawa International Academy and the Kronberg Academy. His performances have been broadcast worldwide on major cultural media platforms, and his recent international tours include concerto performances and solo projects featuring the complete Bach Cello Suites.

Artist Michael Bialobroda performed at the prestigious Winter 2025 show of the luxury fashion brand Moncler, contributing live musical performance to one of the season’s most high-profile international fashion events. He also recently performed in the orchestra for the Louis Vuitton Fall Winter 2026 show, an artistic production directed by Pharrell Williams for Louis Vuitton.
