Francesco Pasqualotto
Biography
Francesco Pasqualotto is “an honest and clever artist, with excellent fingers and great sound” as M° Bruno Canino says about him.
Francesco Pasqualotto (1982) resides in Gallarate, where he has graduated from Liceo Classico in 2001. He studied piano under the direction of Maestro Maria Grazia Bellocchio. In 2004 he has graduated with honors from Conservatorio Verdi in Milano, where he was admitted as a private student. He attended an experimental composition course given by Maestro Sandro Gorli at the same Conservatoire.
In 2006 he has graduated from Conservatorio “G.Donizetti” in Bergamo with a second-level degree with high votes.
He has attended master classes that have allowed him to be exposed to teachers and concert artists of international fame like Maestro Franco Scala, Bruno Canino, Louis Lortie, Filippo Gamba, Paolo Bordoni Konstantin Bogino, Pier Narciso Masi, Trio Altenberg, Emilia Fadini. He has attended two seminars at Chigiana Academy in Siena given by Maestro Maurizio Pollini as a “listener”.
In the same Academy, in 2006, he attended a master’s class in Trio di Trieste.
In 2004 he has attended a master’s class with A. Jasinski and S.Dorenskyin Mozarteum of Salzburg.
Now he is employed in the execution of “Integrals Piano Opera” ofL.van Beethoven and G.Ligeti. He also played the Second and the Fifth Piano Concerts of Beethoven.
From 2019 it is available the CD “A.Bruckner’s piano works” for Brilliant Classics.
In 2021 he recorded for Urania a CD with Bartók’s music (I’m Freien, Suite op. 14, Bagatelles op. 6 etc etc)
In 2014 he recorded Mozart’s Requiem in Czerny’s Four Hands version with D. Maccagnola and C. Porta Choir directed by A. Greco. He also recorded Bartók’s Sonata and Etudes, Ligeti’s Etudes, Schumann’s Etudes (2015), Liszt’s Paganini Etudes, Chopin Piano Etudes op. 10.
His concertistic activity brought him to play in several European Countries (like Spain, Deutschland, Poland…) in prestigious Concert-halls, like Teatro Dal Verme, Sala Verdi (Milano)…
He plays with great artists as Cristiano Rossi, Natasha Korsakova, Ginevra Petrucci, Manrico Padovani, Diego Maccagnola,
He is frequently invited to play for Vatican Radio classical programs.
He gives much sought-after music lessons and performs as a piano soloist in High Schools and Universities and teaches in “G.Puccini” musical school in Gallarate and the Conservatory “F.Vittadini” in Pavia.
Finally, he is the artistic director of the music festival “Spirito Gentil” in Gallarate.
