Vladimir Bodunov
Biography
Vladimir Bodunov, born in Mogilev, Belarus, is a violinist, composer, and arranger. He began his musical education at age six and later studied at the Mogilev Music College and the Belarusian State Academy of Music. A prize-winning composer, he has written for various ensembles and earned recognition in multiple competitions.
Bodunov has been part of several notable bands, including the folk-rock group Pesnyary, and has performed internationally in renowned venues. In 2009, he founded the violin duo, which won several international awards and performed in multiple countries. His arrangements have been published by Bärenreiter Verlag. As the founder of The Violin Drivers, Bodunov explores progressive metal and punk rock.
He has worked with many orchestras and performed at prestigious events, such as the Cannes Film Festival. Additionally, Vladimir Bodunov has performed at Carnegie Hall in the United States, playing his own compositions on the violin. Currently based in Germany, Vladimir Bodunov works as a freelance musician, continuing to compose and perform globally. He is focused on several new compositions and albums for various projects.
