Radoslava Vorgić
Biography
Radoslava Vorgić is a Serbian-born soprano, born in 1985. She holds a degree in music pedagogy and vocal performance from the Music Academy of Novi Sad. Additionally, she earned a PhD under the guidance of Professor Milica Stojadinović in Serbia. Her academic journey continued with a Master's degree in concert and operatic singing, as well as postgraduate studies, under Professor Claudia Eder at Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany.
Ms. Vorgić has garnered numerous accolades throughout her career. She was the first woman to be honored as a Knight of the Laza Kostić Foundation and won First Prize and the Audience Prize at the International Meistersinger Competition in Neustadt a.d. Weinstrasse (Germany). She also received awards from Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg (Germany), the Handel Prize at the IBLA competition (Italy), and a full scholarship for a Masterclass with Dame Emma Kirkby at the Dartington International Summer School (England).
In the 2024/2025 season, Ms. Vorgić will commence with a chamber concert and recording of works by Rudolf Bruci. She will serve as a vocal coach at the XXIII Belgrade Baroque Academy and will perform multiple concerts with the Duo Vorgić/Sovtić at Kolarac Hall in Belgrade and at the "Miloš Crnjanski" Cultural Center of Vojvodina. Additionally, she will perform a concert of French music alongside Sonja Šarić and Rita Kinka.
In the past season, Ms. Vorgić performed extensively in Serbia and Germany, beginning with a solo recital at the Concert Hall in Novi Sad. She sang in Pimpinone (Telemann), conducted by Predrag Gosta, performed Mocking Bird with Mainzer Duo, and made her debut as Rosina at the Gut Immling Festival.
Ms. Vorgić specializes in Baroque music and has performed key roles in rediscovered Baroque operas, including Il primo omicidio overo Cain (A. Scarlatti), La Giuditta (A. Scarlatti), and La Gerusalemme liberata (C. Pallavicino). Her repertoire also includes Susanna in Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro and Flaminia in Haydn's Il mondo della luna. Known for her stage presence, she excels in comedic roles such as Coscoletto (Jacques Offenbach).

As a regular guest at Staatstheater Wiesbaden, Ms. Vorgić was invited to perform in the world premiere of Schönerland by Nils Sören Eichberg. Her collaborations with maestro Predrag Gosta have included roles such as Angelica in Orlando (G. F. Handel) and Ninfa & Proserpina in Orfeo (C. Monteverdi), which led to guest performances at the State Opera Stara Zagora in Bulgaria. Her Swiss debut was as Aspasia in Mitridate, re di Ponto (W. A. Mozart) at Stadttheater Biel/Solothurn. She has also performed Vespetta in Pimpinone (G. P. Telemann) in Germany and France, in collaboration with maestro and harpsichordist Martin Gester.

Recently, Ms. Vorgić toured with the Beyond Borders band, performing the program Ariabica, which blends Baroque, jazz, and Arabic music, throughout Germany and Serbia. She is also a member of the women’s ensemble Kaliomene, with whom she performed Gregorian chants on tour through Rhineland-Palatinate in Germany.
