Biography

Son of a principal clarinetist in the Guardia di Finanza Band, he began studying piano at a young age with Maestro Assunta Giordani and later pursued Composition under Maestro Alessandro Forti, ultimately graduating in Composition from the Licinio Refice Conservatory in Frosinone under the guidance of Maestro Enrico Marocchini.

As a composer, he has written numerous pieces for soundtracks, mainly intended for theater. As a multi-instrumentalist performer – playing guitar, piano, and organ – he has performed in various theaters and venues in Rome and throughout Italy, including Teatro di Marcello, Casa del Jazz, Music Inn, Biblioteca Angelica, and Biblioteca Casanatense in Rome;  Basilica of Sant'Antonio da Padova, Palazzo Serra di Cassano in Naples, Giuseppe Manini Municipal Theater in Narni, and many more.

He has published nine albums and has accompanied book presentations by renowned Italian cultural figures such as Dacia Maraini, Marcello Veneziani, and Morando Morandini, with his piano and guitar music.

A fan of progressive music and, in particular, the group Le Orme, he has opened for two of their concerts at Casa del Jazz and Crossroads Live Club.

As a composer and performer, he performed under the direction of Stefano De Sando and the direction of Silvio Peroni in the 2009, 2010, and 2013 editions of Capalbio Poesia, which featured notable participants such as Paola Gassman, Daniela Poggi, Emanuele Salce, and Marina Tagliaferri.

Additionally, he has written articles for the magazines “Fare Musica” and “Music File Magazine,” and since 2015, he has served as the Artistic Director of the Classical Music section of Euromusic Agency. He is a member of the SIMC – Italian Society for Contemporary Music founded by Alfredo Casella and serves as the Editorial Director for MEP – Music Ensemble Publishing.
