Through this album, the artist delves into the rich tapestry of cultures that have shaped the region, while also uncovering the common thread that binds them together.
The Mediterranean, once known as Mare Nostrum by the Romans, is not only a physical boundary but also a vessel that has carried the shared history, music, and identity of its surrounding civilizations across the waves of time.
In Mediterraneo, Luca reflects on the unique musical characteristics of Mediterranean cultures while celebrating their historical connections. The album serves as a tribute to the enduring influence of the sea and its ability to unite different peoples through a shared artistic heritage.
Luca plays the guitar crafted by Manuel Adalid, "La Cathedral." His current performances and teaching engagements continue to inspire students and audiences alike.
