Biography
Jean-Marc TURPIN, a baritenor singer, has always been passionate about music and singing. He discovered music at the age of 7, initially through the slide trombone. For years, he practiced this instrument and performed with several renowned jazz ensembles across France.
His musical journey took a new direction when he discovered opera singing. Jean-Marc completed his studies at the Regional Conservatory (CRR) of Caen and obtained his Diploma of Musical Studies in opera singing at the Conservatory of Chartres. Later, he continued his vocal development at the National Conservatory of Roubaix under the tutelage of Serge Wilfart, mastering the repertoire of opera's greatest arias.
Committed to delivering authentic and captivating performances, Jean-Marc enhanced his stage presence by attending theater training at Cours Florent in Paris, under the mentorship of Francis Huster. His theatrical experience allows him to effortlessly connect with audiences, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere during every performance.
