Anastasiia Demchenko

Biography

Anastasiia Demchenko, born on October 19, 1995, is an emerging lyric soprano known for the warmth of her voice, expressive phrasing, and refined musicality. She began her formal vocal training in Russia and is currently pursuing her advanced studies in Italy. Her artistic development reflects a deep commitment to her craft, shaped by a combination of academic excellence and extensive stage experience.

Anastasiia has performed in various opera productions and concert seasons across Italy and abroad, collaborating with distinguished orchestras and international festivals. With her elegant stage presence, technical control, and sincere interpretation, she continues to gain recognition as a promising voice on the European operatic scene.

Anastasiia began her musical education at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome, where she is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance. She previously honed her craft at the Accademia d’Arte Lirica in Osimo, the International Opera Studio in Pesaro, and the S.V. Rachmaninov Conservatory in Rostov-on-Don, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree. Her artistic development has been further enriched by masterclasses with renowned teachers and singers such as Mario Melani, Ernesto Palacio, Raina Kabaivanska, William Matteuzzi, and Alla Simoni.

In recognition of her talent, Anastasiia has won several international awards: the Best Female Performance Award at the Colleferro International Opera Competition, First Prize at the 15th International Music Competition “Città di Pesaro,” and the Absolute First Prize at the International Music Competition “Città di Fasano.” Her operatic roles include Zerlina in Mozart’s Don Giovanni (March 2023), Annina and Flora in Verdi’s La Traviata (January and February 2025), and Musetta in Puccini’s La Bohème at the Mozarteum Salzburg festival (March 2025). Anastasiia regularly appears in Italy and abroad in operas, concert series, and gala evenings, collaborating with prestigious orchestras and participating in internationally recognized festivals.
